The Central Bank registered two additional shares issues of Atomenergoprom worth RUB 750 billion

The Bank of Russia has registered two additional common and preferred shares of JSC Atomenergoprom placed as closed subscription.
 
Earlier, it was reported that Atomenergoprom was planning to place as closed subscription 500 mln common shares in favor of ROSATOM and 250 mln preferred shares in favor of the Ministry of Finance. Stock nominal and offer price coincide and equal to RUB 1,000 per share.
 
The additional share issue of RUB 500 billion was given the state registration number 1-01-55319-Е-008D, and the issue of RUB 250 billion was registered as 2-01-55319-Е-001D of February 11, 2019.
 
Late December the sole shareholder of Atomenergoprom, ROSATOM, approved raising the authorized capital through placing an additional shares issue. Shares of a number of sectoral companies were paid for the additional shares issue. Additional preference shares were paid in rubles.
 
On February 20, 2015 the Bank of Russia registered Atomenergoprom’s additional shares issue (Ref. № 1-01-55319-Е-007D). The company planned to place as a closed subscription 500 mln common shares at the nominal of RUB 1,000 each. The shares were places for the benefit of ROSATOM and the Russian Federation on behalf of ROSATOM.
 
Atomenergoprom twice prolonged this emission – in 2016 and 2017. Totally, 18,353,927 shares were placed to make 3.7% of the whole amount. Since March 26, 2018 the issue was suspended to resume June 13 by the Central Bank of Russia’s decision. The same year, 2015, the Bank of Russia registered the additional shares issue (No. 2-01-55319-Е) of 320 mln of preference shares of Atomenergoprom at RUB 1,000 each which were also placed through closed subscription in favor of Russia on behalf of the Ministry of Finance. The established date of placement of this issue expired on February 19, 2018; the company placed 17.97% of the total volume.
 
Each year, through additional shares issues, Atomenergoprom receives funds from the governmental budget to finance a number of target programs primarily programs for construction of new NPPs in Russia. Atomenergoprom’s authorized capital is RUB 1,250,873,328,000; it is divided in 978,373,328 common shares and 57,500,000 preference shares of RUB 1,000 nominal each.
