About Nuclear Power

Mankind requires more and more electricity. At the same time global warming forces it to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases, compelling it to limit the burning of oil, gas and coal at heat power plants. Opportunities for new hydropower plants are limited. Alternative power sources (wind turbines, solar batteries, biofuel) provide too little energy. What’s left? Nuclear energy.

Nuclear power engineering is one of the youngest and most dynamically developing industries of global economy. Its history dates back only a little over 50 years, but even now it is difficult to imagine modern energy landscape of the world without it.
